As winter was slowly approaching Brazil, the staff at Barreirinha bus terminal in Curitiba, a city in Brazil’s South Region, decided to do something wonderful for the homeless pups freezing on the streets.
The employees at the bus station provided the dogs, known as Zoinho, Pitoco, and Max, with food and water. And that’s not all. They also provided the pups with three beds made from old tires and covered them with comfy blankets so that the cute trio could stay warm throughout the cold nights.
This act of kindness was noticed by Fabiane Rosa, a local politician and animal lover, and she posted some photos of the pups all snuggled up in the blankets on her Facebook profile, which, of course, went viral.
Besides praising the staff at the bus station for their act of generosity and love, in her post, Rosa wrote: “These communal dogs have a much more dignified life than some who are victims of maltreatment and neglect, hidden behind the walls.”
May this story serve as an inspiration to other people and companies to open their hearts, show love to stray dogs, and follow this noble act.
Remember: Small acts of kindness and generosity have the power to make the world we live in a better place.
