Dogs are the purest creatures that ever walked the earth. I know this from my own personal experience. If you don’t believe it, you can ask any dog lover and they would tell you that there is no other animal that connects as deeply as dogs do with their favorite humans.
I’ve always said that we don’t deserve them. And as it turns out, we really don’t.
We’ve all witnessed animal cruelty. We’ve all seen how brutal, wicked and extremely evil humans can be towards animals. But what you are about to see will shock you beyond belief.
A few months ago, an eight-year-old German Shepard called TT from Florida has experienced something inexplicable horrifying. This dog is a therapy dog that is a live-in friend to a veteran who struggles with PTSD.
According to WKMG, TT was taken to Groomingdales Pet Spa (located in Satellite Beach) to enjoy its usual grooming treatment. However, instead of being groomed and well taken care of, the dog ended up beaten and badly injured.
The person responsible for this horrible act is James Cordell Doughty Suthann, the thirty-seven-year-old pet spa employee. According to him, the dog wouldn’t calm down, so he did what he thought was necessary. In an attempt to lift the dog from the ground, he grabbed the tail and snapped it. Poor TT was left in pain. But that didn’t make James stop. In fact, he proceeded to hurt the dog by hitting it in the head with the hose.
Tell me what kind of a person hurts animals and shows no remorse whatsoever?
Only a monster.
The only good thing from all this is the fact that James was immediately fired and arrested. Luckily the Groomingdales Pet Spa uses cameras, so the entire incident was recorded. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey saw the video. He said it was one of the worst things he had seen during his 39 years in law enforcement.
As for TT, doctors tried hard to save its broken tail, but the grave injuries made it very difficult to do so. So, the only option they were left with was amputation. The most important thing is that TT is alive and is slowly healing her wounds. She went through a big trauma, but she is slowly recovering from it.
If you ask me, hurting an animal is not different from hurting a human being. A person who can do this to a dog, will not hesitate to do it to another person. So, I truly hope that animal abusers will finally be punished for their heinous crimes to the fullest extent of the law.
Bellow is a videotape from the incident. But be advised. It contains graphic images, so it is not for the faint-hearted.
