The Dalai Lama Says More Hard Hitting Words About The Mass Brainwashing Of Society

It is no wonder that the 14thDalai Lama of Tibet is often center of attention. Recently, he gave his commentary on the incidents that shook the world, like Paris’ attacks and other terrorist attacks which had left people feeling scared and desperate.

He said that praying to God to save us was ridiculous and it didn’t make sense since those events were started by humans only. People are responsible for all the bleeding that terrorism brought – not God.

His comments went viral along with his advice that this brainwashing of society must stop immediately, and people must realize that war is not an answer in order to change the direction in which our planet seems to be headed.

Dalai Lama writes:

This statement really is a piece of truth. If you think about it, all military organizations exist only to kill people. We are being brainwashed into believing that war is something glorious and glamorous, and going into war is definitely something we should be proud of.

It is true, however, that both men and women who enter the military service do it with a purpose to serve their country and nation, but what they fail to understand is that the whole idea of this international war on terrorism is a pure fabrication. They fight for the wrong ideals. In other words, the enemy they think they are protecting their country from is in fact a product of their own nation.

Dr. Michael Choissudovsky, University of Otawa’s Emeritus Professor of Economics points out that soldiers are brainwashed into thinking that they fight against a real enemy, but what they do not know is that the ‘real’ enemy they fight against is fully supported and financed by the Western military alliance.

Dalai Lama is actually saying that this is exactly why we feel that war is necessary and acceptable course of action – because we are made to believe that we are serving our country.

He continues:

 

We must put an end to this mass brainwashing and finally stop the killing and war in general. The soldiers must wake up immediately. They need to recognize the fact that it is a human being giving orders to another human being to pull the trigger which kills another human being. And it takes a human being to believe they are doing something marvelous.

This change has to come from within. We are the sole reason why war exists in a first place. We start it, we participate in it, and we prolong it. If every soldier refused to participate in it, there would be no wars.

No matter how evil these dictators that mobilize soldiers and cause international conflicts are, they could not do that and cause the murder of thousands of human lives if they didn’t have a military organization accepted and supported by society.

Many soldiers are starting to wake up and speak up, so we are on to a good start.

Dalai Lama goes on commenting on how expensive war is. We are talking about “thousands of billions of dollars” pure cash poured into the military and also into America’s Defense Department as ex Canadian Minister of Defense points out. This money “had been spent on projects which both the Congress and the Commander in Chief know nothing about.”

Rather than spending it on wars, this money could be spent for noble reasons such as alleviating poverty and hunger on the planet.

The fact is, if we are using money as a tool, why not use it to provide food, shelter and clothing for the less fortunate?

Science Has Found A Way To Detect The Human AURA And Represent It Visually

The human aura has long been a concept only mentioned by spiritualists. Starting from as far back as the ancient Vedic teachings, the concept of the human aura has involved many interpretations and important information about ourselves.

How does it work? These vibrations vibrate at a specific frequency. Each frequency has its corresponding color and sound. Really, an aura could be translated both in color and sound. Here we’re going to talk about the color.

However, these vibrations are too subtle to be seen by the naked eye and perceived by the brain as existent, and that’s why we can’t see them. Only a highly trained brain, or a specific machine can detect them, the latter being more successful at it.

  • Buy a container. You can either buy a container or build one based on the dimensions mentioned above. You may paint the exterior of the container but leave the interior unpainted as the chemicals can pose to be toxic to worms. Make sure that you drill 12 one-inch holes at the bottom for drainage.
  • Prepare the bedding. Suitable sources for bedding are cardboard, print papers and shredded newspapers. Use only the black and white side of the newspaper as colored pages contain dyes posing a threat to worms. Use the paper shredder or tear the paper in parallel strips of about one-inch width. Place the shredded paper in the bin. Pour a gallon of garden soil and 4 gallons of water to ensure there is sufficient moisture. You should prepare the bedding prior 2 days before adding worms. Your bedding material should be moist and not soggy.
  • Get the Worms. You will need to buy 2 pounds of worm for each pound of your household garbage. These worms are readily available to buy for stocking. You can feed the worms on potato peels, spaghetti, orange peels, tea or coffee ground, and garden waste. Feeding can be performed either every day, twice or just once a week. The bedding should be changed and larger worms be harvested every 2 months. The old composed bedding and garbage can be used as a great nutrient-rich soil in your garden or around plants.

1. Reading minds

Ask one of your friends to think of a number between 1 and 20. Let’s say the number he thought of is 8. Then ask him to add 5 to the number and multiply the sum by 3.In this case the result will be 39. After that ask your friend to subtract 15 from the result and he’ll get 24.

Then tell your friend that if he tells you the result you’ll tell him the number he thought of. He’ll say 24. Then you have to divide the result by 3 and tell your friend the result. Try to look as mysterious as you can in order to make it more interesting.

2. Multiplying by 11

It’s very easy to multiply any number by 11 if you know this little trick.

For example let’s take the number 43. Add the numbers 4 and 3 and you’ll get 7. Then put the number 7 between the numbers 4 and 3. And you’ll get the result 473. You can check on the calculator but you’ll still get the same result.

Now let’s extend the challenge and do the same with the number 78. Add the numbers 7 and 8 and you’ll get 15. But then don’t put the number 15 between the numbers 7 and 8, instead put the second digit, number 5, between the numbers 7 and 8 and add the first digit, number 1, to the number 7. You’ll get the result 858 which is the correct result.

3. Guessing the age

Let’s say that your friend is 21, but you don’t know that. Ask him to multiply his age by 5 and then add 8 to the result, after that multiply that result by 2.

Then he’ll have to subtract 6 by that number and multiply it by 10. Now ask him to tell you what he’s got. Then subtract 100 from this number and divide the result by 100. The number you get is the age of your friend.

4. Instant squares

 As we all know a square is a product of a number multiplied by itself. For example 82 is the number you get when 8 is multiplied by 8, which is 64. That’s pretty easy if you know the multiplication table.

But what’s with the squares of two digit numbers? Well, those can be quite easy too if the second digit is 5.

Let’s take 65 for example. First you need to multiply 6 by 7, or the first number plus 1 (6+1). Then simply put 25 at the end of the sum and you’ll get a four digit number. In this particular case 4225 which is the square of 65.

See, it’s quite easy but keep in mind that this only works with numbers ending in 5.

5. Fibonacci sequence

The Fibonacci numbers also known as the Fibonacci sequence are characterized by the fact that every number after the first two is the sum of the two proceeding numbers.

So ask your friend to write down two numbers, the higher one on top of the lower one. Stay aside so your friend is sure that you’re not peeking. Now tell him to sum up the numbers and write the sum below.

Then ask him to sum up the last two numbers and to write the result. Let him continue until ten numbers are written down in a column. Then you come up and immediately write the sum of all the numbers. Your friend could check the result if he wants, but it’ll definitely be correct.

Imagine his astonishment seeing you as a genius who has just sum up a sequence of ten numbers in just a minute.

Here’s the secret. All you have to do is multiply the seventh number by 11 which you already know how to do.

The number you get is also the sum of all the ten numbers your friend wrote.

6. Guessing the result

And the last one is the coolest trick of all. This trick will definitely blow your friend’s minds.

Take out a sheet of paper and write down a six digit number. Ask your friend to write another six digit number below, preferably with different digits. Then you should write another number and then someone else writes another number below and then you need to write the last one.

 Now ask someone to sum up all the five numbers. When the sum of the numbers is written down, you take out a piece of your pocket and what do you know, the same number is already written down on it.

“How did you do that?” –your friends would ask in disbelief. Well there’s an explanation for it, which of course doesn’t involve magic.

Here’s the secret. For example let’s take the following sequence of numbers:

Look at the second and the third number, where the second is written down by your friend and the third by you.

Summed up these two numbers have to equal 999999, so it means that you’d have to write a number which added up to the second one should equal 999999. The same has to happen with the last two numbers. So the sum of the last four numbers would equal 999999 multiplied by two that is 1999998.

Before the trick you have to choose a seven digit number which is bigger than 1999998 write it down on a piece of paper and put it in your pocket.

Don’t forget that the first number of the sheet should be the result of subtracting 1999998 from your seven digit number. So you must memorize it very well so the trick would work. If you are very careful and you don’t make any mistakes the sum of the five numbers would be equal to the sum you have in your pocket.

Believe it or not, sociopaths are all around us and I believe that we all have bumped into sociopaths at least once. Many people won’t even notice they’re dealing with a sociopath until later.

People who mess with your head might seem innocent, but the truth is they want to manipulate you for their own benefit. On top of that, they’re very good manipulators and they are capable of taking control over almost everyone.

1. “You’re just  ________.”

You can fill in the gap with “In love with me”, “envious”, “crazy”, “bipolar”, whatever. Sociopaths would often call other people names just to make them feel insecure or bad. They always go after your self-esteem in attempt to seize control over you.

They use this to justify their unhealthy thoughts and behavior and to make the others hooked on them. 

2. “It is you that misunderstands me.”

Have you heard about the term “gaslighting”? Well, sociopaths often practice it in order to save themselves from a bad situation. Basically, they would just blame someone else (or even you) whenever they receive a bad reaction to something they’ve made. Their speech always ends in “you don’t understand me” or something similar. What they want is always to be right, even if that means making others seem wrong.

3. “You are so susceptible to everything.”

When a sociopath provokes a reaction from you, they will try to defend their action or they will simply say you are too sensitive, no matter if that’s not true.

They would even go so far to give you advice and say something like: You need to “man up”. For them this is just another way to justify their behavior and find an excuse for their actions. That is how they always make it look as if they’re right and make you always feel bad about yourself.

4. “You are drama queen.”

If a sociopath tells you that you’re being dramatic, you need to try and remove any validity from your emotions and reactions instead of feel bad about their words. Again, that is their way of bringing you down. Accusing you of being the drama queen is one way to make you feel unsecure and crazy. That is how they bring you down.

5. “You’re focusing too much on that.”

Of course, sometimes we dig too deep in things and when we do that we often think about things that are never actually there. Anyone can be vulnerable at some point.

I’m Sorry For All The Times My Depression And Anxiety Made Me A Bit Of A Rubbish Friend

Changes happen when you decide to take action and not a minute before that. I realized this after I started being honest about my anxiety and depression. I didn’t expect to notice that the problems I had with my friends were often my fault.

Since I started to be more honest with myself and more open to the others, I realized that because of my anxiety I was ignoring the problems of the others, which influenced my relationships with them negatively.

Now I see that whenever I was thinking about my anxiety, I wasn’t being a very good friend for the people that needed me. Even when my friends didn’t need me, I wasn’t a good friend because I didn’t share the things that were happening to me – the blue thoughts, the uneasiness, panic attacks.

I wonder if they understand me when I tell them I’m sorry.

I feel bad for not answering your calls for nights out just because I was overthinking about anything that could go wrong. I feel bad for not being with you when you had all those important experiences. I feel bad for lying to you that I have other more important things and actually stay in bed.

I feel bad for changing the plans in last minute, although we had been planning everything for days or weeks. I’m sorry for not telling you that I felt depressed at that moment.

I can still remember all the times when I chased a friend away because I didn’t feel prepared to engage in a social situation. And not only that.

There were times when I refused to let anyone notice that I felt anxious, so was irritated at the smallest things and got angry at others for no reason. I was too scared to speak about the things that I was dealing with.

I was afraid they won’t like me because of that. But I didn’t realize that I was driving everyone away whenever I wasn’t myself and didn’t open to them.

I know that I was a bad friend because often I didn’t listen carefully or engage in the conversation. I was distracted because I was thinking about my feelings and thoughts and I was obsessing over minor things that were surrounding me.

I felt agitated and annoyed whenever we had to play a game or do something together. My insecurity made me feel that way. I was unsure that I will be as good as the rest, no matter how unimportant those things were. And often, I decided it’s better to quit, so I stayed home.

When all of these things were happening, my brain was also assuring me that I’m the only one facing those challenges and that nobody would understand me. I didn’t speak about it.

It was only me and my anxiety. Nobody else in the world. My anxiety was my secret and best friend. Soon, I welcomed another friend in my world – depression. Depression and anxiety soon took the control over me. I didn’t realize that I am the one who has the control over them.

Only if I opened up to the others earlier, I would have taken the control over them sooner.

Opening up showed me that I’m not the only one in the world and depression and anxiety are not my good friends, but only challenges that make me stronger whenever I face them.

I learned that I shouldn’t be afraid of rejection. At the end, the true friends are never capable of hurting you and they will always try to help you. True friends have helped me overcome my doubts and be who I am today.

I learned that pushing away people is not the solution, but it can only worsen everything. Trusting people and facing the fear of opening up in front of the others is the real solution.

Now I know that the best version of myself is the honest and real me.

I’ve lost many friends because of my doubts and insecurity. But I’m happy I managed to keep those who are worth the most to me. I want to thank you for everything. Your support has been invaluable to me during my process of change.

I also want you to know that I’m here for you to listen to you and to have your back. You know that you’ll always have a person who loves you and cares for you.

I’m also glad that the negative perceptions are behind me and I’m open for new friendships and exciting experiences.

There is no place for judgement in my world. I don’t allow the bad environment to shape me.

Sometimes, the negative voice in my head shouts at me and tries to take the control back. But I don’t allow it. I have my friends to help me deal with it.

This Is Why Americans No Longer Name Their Baby Girls ‘Caitlyn’

Noah and Emma continue to top the chart as the most popular baby names in 2017, according to the latest statistics released by the Social Security Administration.

With Noah coming on top for the fourth consecutive year and Emma leading the way for the third year running (and with no new additions to the top ten ranking names in both genders), the list is pretty much the same as last year’s, with a few notable differences.

In the boy’s camp, the name Kylo registered a massive increase in popularity over the last year or so, jumping 2,368 spots from its 2015 ranking.

This, of course, can be attributed to the mighty influence of pop culture and the 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which features a character by the name of Kylo Ren.

The girl’s list, however, reveals a much uglier trend, one that reflects society’s prejudice against trans people. Namely, the name “Caitlyn” – in all of its shapes and forms – was the name that recorded the sharpest drop in popularity of all girl names over the last year.

It is difficult not to link this trend to Caitlyn Jenner’s coming out as transgender in 2015, and to her subsequent appearance at the ESPY Award where she claimed the Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

It is safe to say her ‘actions’ angered quite a few conservatives and moderates all across the country, but Caitlyn didn’t exactly endeared herself to liberals and democrats either when she publically  backed the then-candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

What is abundantly clear, though, is that transphobia is very much alive and kicking in the country and that it remains one of the most divisive issues in both camps in the two years following Caitlyn’s decision to come out in 2015.

North Carolina, for example, has passed the so called “bathroom bill”, which states that Americans must only use restrooms that correspond to the sex on their birth certificate.

In passing the bill, the state’s lawmakers claimed it was aimed at protecting young girls from transgender women.

But are these fears warranted? Not according to government estimates. In fact, it is quite the opposite.

Numbers show that transgender Americans are far more likely to experience some form of abuse or assault than almost any other ‘group’ of people, with at least half of the members of this community certain to  fall prey to such behavior at some point during their lives.

What’s worse, many of these incidents go unreported which makes it difficult to gauge the full extent of the problem.

Pope Francis: There Is ‘No Point’ Going To Church If You Don’t Really Believe In It

It doesn’t necessarily mean that only those people who go to church regularly are good people.

This was also confirmed by Pope Francis during his preaching in the chapel of Saint Martha residence in Vatican. He said that one shouldn’t be instantly considered a good man if they are just going to church on a regular basis.

Pope Francis preached this through the parable from the Gospel of Luke which is about the beggar, Lazarus and a wealthy man. The rich man, who was always dressed well and had a lot of food, ignored the suffering, the famine and illness of Lazarus.

The wealthy man was very religious and always generous to the church. He prayed regularly, donated to the priests and offered sacrifices to the temple. But Pope Francis said that these good deeds were no important at all when he couldn’t see and have mercy for his poor neighbor Lazarus.

According to Pope Francis, many religious people surrender completely to worldliness and can’t see how much the people around them are suffering.

However, not being able to see how much the people around you are suffering is not only slightly sinful but is a deep sinful state of the soul.

During the Waster vigil service, the Pope also preached an Easter message with reference to the Islamic attacks in Belgium.
