CBD Oil Responsible for Cool Pets

Do you want your pet to be cool? Do you want your dog to be the quirky one that makes friends easily and doesn’t hide behind you or start barking when someone approaches you? Do you want your cat to be the calm one that doesn’t pierce your ears meowing all the time, or scratching your furniture, your guests and even you occasionally? Most importantly, do you want all your animals to be healthy?

I am pretty sure I know your answers to the above questions. I am also pretty sure that you will say something along the lines of: “That’s just their personality and there’s nothing I can do about it”. You have said this at least once during your time as a pet owner. That may be right sometimes, but you cannot account for all their flaws this way.

Believe it or not, it’s not always just their personality and there is something you can do about it. Sometimes, your pet is struggling with certain things inside its body, and you need to be the one to notice that and take action. The information you will find over at this website will probably open your eyes a little bit and make it clear that sometimes your pet isn’t “cool” not because of its personality, but because there is an issue that needs to be resolved.

As the owner, you are responsible for noticing that issue. As the perfect product, CBD oil is responsible for resolving the issue and showing you how cool your animal can be when everything is functioning the way it should. When I use the word “cool” here, keep in mind that I am not referring to the temperature of the body, but rather to their behavior. In other words, I am using this term as slang, and I am pretty sure you know what I am trying to say.

Why Your Pet Isn’t Cool

It can sometimes be difficult to admit that your animal doesn’t belong to the group of the “cool kids”. How do you decide that it doesn’t deserve that place to begin with, and what is the reason behind their “un-coolness”? Let me try and shed some light on this whole idea. The answer is right there in front of your nose, it’s just that, as I have already mentioned, you aren’t ready to admit it.

When your animal starts lashing out and misbehaving without any apparent reason, so it becomes difficult for you to spend time with it or take it anywhere with you, which means that it isn’t cool. When it destroys your belongings when you are not around, it isn’t cool either. If it starts being fearful in the presence of other animals or people and trembles, runs away or attacks them… well, you can guess the rest of this one.

Read this interesting view on this behavior: https://www.humanesociety.org/resources/does-your-dog-freak-out-when-you-leave

Let us now see why. All of the behaviors that I have mentioned are rarely only a matter of their personality. They are usually signs of stress, separation anxiety or a different type of anxiety. That means that your pet’s “un-coolness” is brought about by an issue that they are facing and that you are the one that needs to resolve that issue. Luckily, I am going to teach you how.

How CBD Can Make Your Pet Cool

There is a little miracle product called CBD oil. It is made from a compound called Cannabidiol, which is extracted from a plant from the cannabis family, called hemp. Don’t worry, just because I have mentioned cannabis, it doesn’t mean that the product will get your animal high. That’s not the “cool” I am talking about here and you can rest assured that CBD oil is completely non-psychoactive.

This product has become rather popular on the market and a large number of animal owners use it on a daily basis for alleviating all kinds of symptoms and generally making their pets happier and healthier. It has shown to be perfect for reducing pain, swellings and inflammation, and research is being conducted on its ability to fight cancer cells.

How does this help with the above behavior, you might wonder? Well, here’s the great thing. As it turns out, evidence suggests that CBD oil helps treat anxiety, fear, stress and even depression. Studies have shown that it can be of huge help in reducing anxiety symptoms in your pet and making it calmer, happier and healthier in general.

When its anxiety symptoms are relieved, your animal won’t exhibit the destructive behavior as the one described above, which will be useful both for the pet and for the owner. As you can see, CBD oil is definitely the product that can make your pet cool and it does that by making it healthy. Remember, a healthy pet is the coolest pet ever.

Patokh Chodiev: how love for Japan helped a billionaire

The art and culture of Japan has become a common hobby in Europe and around the world since the end of the 19th century. Enlightened minds from around the world enthusiastically adopted the cultural experience of the Japanese. At different times, probably every third survived the country’s passion for the rising sun. And today, this hobby is gaining momentum, of course, with some modern gloss of a changed Japan, but with the same spirit and traditions that still exist.

This country attracts with its exquisite traditions, great heritage and new trends. The famous billionaire and philanthropist Patokh Chodiev is one of those who fell in love with Japanese culture so deeply that it became his mentor in his youth and a guiding star for life.

How exactly the enthusiasm for Japanese culture and historical heritage helped Patokh Chodiev to become what he is today, and what you can learn from this experience for your development, read below.

Patokh Chodiev: with Japan in heart for a lifetime

Throughout his life, Patokh Chodiev adores Japan. He gives interviews extremely rarely, and in each of them he mentions a moment from childhood when he in the poor Uzbek SSR did his best to learn about Japan as much as it was possible during the so-called Iron Curtain period of the USSR informational blockade of its citizens.

Patokh Chodiev managed to gain more information about the beloved distant country only in his youth. A young man from Central Asia, relying only on his strengths and personal qualities, was able to enter MGIMO, which in a sense became a precedent. Then, in the Soviet Union, MGIMO was the most prestigious university. Having mastered the intricacies of diplomacy and foreign languages, the future billionaire has access to a huge library of this educational institution, where he was waiting for hundreds of materials about Japan, including language learning. The hours spent reading and learning new knowledge about the country of his interest turned his life upside down.

Patokh Chodiev: how to make your  dream a reality

The embodiment of children’s secret dreams can become a reality, as evidenced by the life story of Patokh Chodiev. After graduating from the USSR’s most privileged university, the once simple boy from Uzbekistan became an advisor to the Union’s trade representative in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Patokh Chodiev fulfilled his old dream as soon as the opportunity came. Arriving in Japan, he plunged deeply into the study of new knowledge about culture, talked a lot with the citizens of Japan, learning their language and business etiquette.

Work and training in Japan occupied a dominant position in the fate of Patokh Chodiev, who spent several years there until the end of the 1980s. It was in Japan that he learned how to conduct an effective business, establish contacts and negotiate, observing a high level of business etiquette. The acquired knowledge and skills formed his personality, he began to be distinguished from the rest of the first first businessmen of the former USSR.

Patokh Chodiev: Forty Years of Success

Patokh Chodiev claims that he owes his success not only to his personal natural qualities, but also to the choice of life priorities that turned out to be true. The road to prosperity and success began as a student, and the basic skills to realize oneself as a philanthropist and entrepreneur formed in Japan. It was the Japanese who instilled in Chodiev an understanding of how to work correctly and honestly, make a profit, and communicate with relatives, the environment, partners and competitors. Patokh Chodiev, thanks to representatives of ancient culture, realized what he had to strive for in order to achieve success not only for himself, but also for other people.

Using the accumulated knowledge and skills, he creates a strong alliance with other first entrepreneurs who built their business from scratch – these are Alexander Mashkevich and Alidjan Ibragimov. All of them come from ordinary Soviet families of the poor republics of Central Asia, who created ambitious business projects in the new history of the already independent republics of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Together they created the Eurasian Resources Group and the Eurasian Bank.

In thanks to Japan

Like all self-respecting businessmen, Patokh does not fall into words, but rather proves something by deeds. In gratitude to Japan for his inspiration, he provides tremendous financial assistance to the development of its cultural heritage.

You Deserve To Be With Someone Who Knows Your Worth

you deserve someone

You deserve to be with someone who will know your worth. Someone to whom you’ll be more than good enough.

You deserve to be with someone who will show you the true meaning of love. Someone who will show you that love doesn’t have to be tough and painful. Someone who will show you what raw, genuine, deep love feels like. (1)

You deserve someone who is sure about you.

You deserve someone who will be willing to pull down the walls you’ve built around your heart to protect it. Because your heart got broken too many times. Because your trust was betrayed too many times. Because you committed to people who couldn’t see that you were a person that was the easiest to love. You were a woman with a heart of gold.

You committed to people for whom you were willing to fight with every part of yourself. But, they didn’t care about it.  They didn’t care about you.

That’s why you deserve someone whose biggest fear will be losing you. Someone who will walk through fire and fight demons to make you feel happy and protected.

You deserve to be with someone who won’t be afraid to love and be loved. Someone who won’t be ashamed to express their feelings. Instead, they will wear their heart on their sleeve and they’ll never make you doubt their love for you. (2)

You deserve to be with someone who won’t think that showing their vulnerabilities makes them look weak.

You deserve to be loved by someone who will make sure you know how special you are to them.

You deserve someone who will make your eyes glow with happiness when they’re around. Someone who will make your body tremble and your heart skip a beat at their touch. Someone who will be tender and supportive on your bad days and loving and passionate on your good days.

You deserve someone who will make you feel wanted.

Someone who will shower you with affection, sweet words, and compliments. Someone who you’ll always be able to rely on. Someone who will feel like home.

You deserve someone who will accept and love you for who you are and always let you be yourself.

Someone who will be aware of all your weaknesses and faults and who will have seen you at your worst, and still accept and cherish you the way you are.

You deserve someone who will be aware of your beauty, both outward and inward, and of the purity of your soul. Someone who will know that you’re the best thing that could have ever happened to them. That you’re their strength. Their guiding light. Their blessing.

You deserve to be loved by someone who will be patient with you and who won’t lose their temper and call you “needy,” “clingy,” or “boring” when you get emotional and show your vulnerable sides.

You deserve someone who will show understanding of your problems.

Someone who will patiently listen to you when you complain about what a bad day you had at work or about how much your best friend disappointed you. Someone who won’t leave you to fight your battles on your own.

Instead, they’ll stick with you through thick and thin. They’ll be your crying shoulder and greatest support. They’ll do their best to help you overcome your problems and see that gorgeous smile of yours on your face again.

You deserve someone who will enjoy spending time with you.

Someone to whom it won’t matter whether you spend the Saturday night in the best club in the city or at home, watching your favorite movie and eating pizza.

You deserve to be loved by someone who won’t make you beg for their attention and love.  (3)

You deserve someone who will be honest with and loyal to you.

Someone who will be both your best friend and an amazing lover. Someone who will respect your opinions, ideas, and decisions, but also tell you when you say or do something wrong or stupid.

You deserve someone who will show interest in the things you like. Someone who will do the seemingly unimportant things that actually mean a lot to you.

You deserve someone who will send you a bouquet of white roses to your office because they remember they’re your favorite ones. Someone who will leave you cute love notes on your pillow in the morning so that you begin the day knowing how much loved you are.

You deserve to be loved by someone who will tell you to text them when you get home because they want to know you’re safe and okay. Someone who won’t forget to ask you how your day went. Someone who will call you just to hear your voice. Someone who will terribly miss you when you’re not around.

You deserve someone who will be proud of everything you are and everything you do.

Someone who will show the world how grateful they are for having you in their life. Someone to whom you’ll be the most important person in the world.

You deserve to be loved by someone who won’t see you as a burden or just one more obligation they have to fulfill. Instead, you’ll be their strength. Their energy. Their priority.

You deserve to be with someone who will know your worth and remind you of it. Someone who will make you their choice every single day. Someone who will love you unconditionally and never give up on you.

Your “Meanest” Friend Is The One Who Actually Wants The Best For You And Gives You The Best Advice

If you have a friend you love, but at times can’t stand because their harsh (though true) words can hurt like needles – you can’t help but think that they are just being mean. However, science says this is not the case when it comes to your closest friends.

In fact, recent findings have shown that your meanest friend is the one who truly loves you and wants the best for you.

According to research published in Psychological Science, people who tend to make others experience negative emotions believe that the impact of those emotions will be beneficial for them in the long run.

The research was conducted at the University of Plymouth and included 140 adult participants. The scientists behind the study observed their behavior during hypothetical situations: for instance, by generating the fear of failure in a friend who instead of learning for exams – is procrastinating his studying.

The researchers claimed that asking participants to take another person’s point of view has increased the likelihood of them choosing negative experiences and emotions for the other person if they thought that that experience would be helpful to them.

The findings of the study confirmed what scientists believed – that people indeed may be “cruel to be kind”.

“What was surprising was that worsening effect was not random but emotion-specific,” says López-Pérez, the lead author of the study. “In line with previous research, our results have shown that people hold very specific expectations about the effects that certain emotions may have and about which emotions may be better for achieving different goals.”

In other words, people can sometimes be “mean” to you not because they hate you, or they want to hurt you – but because they care for you and their “meanness” comes out of selflessness and empathy.

So, go ahead! Share this post and tag your “mean” friends and tell them how much you love them for their honesty!

How Can You Ask Your Friend For Advice Politely?

When it comes to friends, they have the empowering ability to give you the best friendship advice and you can rely on their support. When you decide that you need to talk to someone about the problems you have, it means that you have control over your life and it is a sign of intelligence. (1

And your true friends ( the ones who are cruel and honest with you always), although sometimes can use harsh words, are always there for help because true friendships are there through thick and thin and, what is important, in this situation, both parties benefit.

The whole interaction you will have, when you ask for advice, with your friend is a serious act that involves patience, diplomacy, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence.

The whole process may go easily in the wrong way and lead to frustration, below-average solutions, decision gridlock, and prevented personal development. You should be careful when you ask for advice from your friend and do it without annoying them:

The start of the conversation is very important. You should always start with a positive tone and just use the most simple friendly statement, “I’d love your advice,” and immediately address your problem.

You have probably already understood the problem yourself and you are not sure about the root of the problem, it is hard for you to find a solution, but you still have some desired outcomes in mind.

According to a study conducted by two Harvard Business School professors, Joshua D. Margolis and David A. Garvin, there are 4 different types of advice you can ask your friend:

1. Counsel

When you seek counsel, you ask for guidance on how to face a difficult situation and the type of question would be, “How can I support by controlling manager? “

2. Mentoring

When you ask for this type of advice, you need it for your career advancement and professional effectiveness. It is a guide for your professional success and the question would be similar to “ How can I succeed in exposing the project I am working on? “.

3. Coaching

This type of advice is used for personal and professional development, enhancing skills and self–awareness. It involves self–management and proficiency in the tasks you work on and the working environment.

The typical advice you would ask when you need coaching is: “ How can I improve my collaboration skills? “

4. Discrete

When you ask a discrete question, you have few options in mind and you need to decide, so you need the advice to make the right decision. The type of question would be: “ Where shall we invest next – in China, in Japan, or in France?”

When you continue with the conversation, you should clearly define the problem. It is always best to come prepared with specific details at home, and include all the essential background information your friend should know and keep him interested in the problem.

Always ask the right person

Several studies showed that people who seek advice usually seek it from their close friends than from their acquaintances, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that they will receive quality answers. (2

So, think creatively from whom you seek advice. If you ask advice from a CEO about your personal life, do not expect a miracle.

You probably have the right friends for advice on your relationship, cooking, or finances. So, before asking someone for advice, think about:

  • Are they honest with you?
  • How well do you know them?
  • Shall they be willing to speak about the issue?
  • Are they genuinely helpful?

Do Not Think You Know The Answer

When you find the right friend for your question, never assume the answer and think that you already know the answer.

In the end, the answer you will receive is not probably what you except for because it is seen from their perspective. But, this is a valuable experience and can open your eyes to new ideas, but it doesn’t mean that you should blindly follow them. Make sure it aligns with your own beliefs.

Be Grateful!

It is always nice to emphasize that you should BE GRATEFUL!

When the conversation is over, say Thank you to your friend for the time spent with you and for the advice given. You can even send them a message or an email the next day to say how grateful you are they are your friends and how their feedback helped you. Being appreciative and humble is a key to having a long relationship with your friends.

Do Not Give Up

Sometimes you have a big problem, but people just do not listen to you. But, do not give up on your problem. You will, in the end, find the right person who will help you have a happier and healthier life.

INFJ Personalities – If You Possess These 20 Characteristics You Belong To The World’s Rarest Personality Type

INFJ represents one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator was developed by Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabel Myers who based it on Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types.

Myers and Briggs’s system is a self-report questionnaire that examines people in four different categories: Extroversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving. Once you do the test, the results determine which of the 12 personality types you are.

According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, an INFJ personality is Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging. ( 1)

It’s worth mentioning that INFJs are also known as “the Advocates,” the Idealists,” or “the Counselors,” and the INFJ personality type is considered the rarest in the world.

So, if you’re wondering what makes INFJs unique and rare, here are 20 personality traits INFJs have in common. INFJ individuals are a real treasure, so if you know someone with this personality type – keep them in your life.

1. They Are True Introverts

Since INFJs appear outgoing, know how to handle different social situations, and have no problem socializing, people tend to think they’re extroverts. But, quite the opposite is true.

INFJs don’t like the idea of mingling with many people as this makes them feel overwhelmed and exhausted.  And when they do mingle with huge crowds, they often feel the need to spend some time alone after that to recharge their batteries and relax. INFJs would rather hang out with a handful of people they know well or spend time alone than be surrounded by many people they don’t know anything about and that don’t share similar values.

2. They Judge Other People By The Way They Make Them Feel

An INFJ doesn’t judge others based on the first impression they get. Instead, they judge other people by the way they treat and make them feel. For example, if they notice a person is genuine, honest, and kind to them, they’ll consider them worthy of their attention and respect. On the other hand, if they notice someone is fake or dishonest or that they’re trying to deceive or manipulate them, they’ll distance themselves from that person.

3. They Are Conscious About The Future

People with INFJ personalities are not obsessing over trivialities. Instead, they always tend to see the bigger picture and only focus on important things.

They face challenges bravely and do not get discouraged if something doesn’t go according to their plan. Instead, they push themselves forward and look for others ways to get their desired results.

4. They Are Hardworking

INFJs are not lazy when it comes to working. Rather, they are devoted, diligent, and highly organized workers. These people work hard to achieve their goals because they’ve learned that nothing in life comes for free. However, they don’t work just to say they work, but give 100% of themselves in their job.

5. They Trust Their Gut

These people are highly intuitive and can easily sense when something is off. The most important thing is that INFJs act on their intuition, meaning they follow their gut feelings. And, they are rarely wrong. They also have a keen sense of when something is about to happen in their life.

6. They Are Truth-Seekers

They are fascinated by the secrets of the Universe, and they can spend the entire night just observing the stars. They like to delve deep into things and are curious about the Universe’s mysteries and patterns. They look for the essence of things and are not much interested in ordinary things.

7. They Choose Their Friends Carefully

These people are not comfortable being around a big group of people. They prefer the comfort of their home and would rather be alone or have a handful of friends than be in bad company. They want to hang out only with people who share the same values as them, and they appreciate their alone time.

8. They Are Sensitive And Empathetic

INFJs are genuine empaths in the world. They are very caring and generous people. They’re always there for their loved ones and they always help those in need. They always put themselves in other people’s shoes, and this is what makes them sensitive to the feelings of others. They would never hurt someone intentionally.

9. They Are People Readers

Hand in hand with their emotional intelligence comes their ability to see through people’s actions and thoughts. They can tell whether they’re dealing with a genuine, honest person or someone who is phony and manipulative within minutes of meeting them. It’s like they possess a special gift to sense what other people are thinking or feeling. This trait helps them protect themselves by removing those people who are bad for them.

10. They Have Firm Beliefs About The World

INFJs have deep convictions about the world and a clear image of what they’d like it to look like. They know what things in the world bother them and what society’s problems need to be fixed so that the world can become a better place to live in.

Their beliefs about the world and everything that surrounds them are so profound and unwavering that they don’t let anyone or anything make them change them, and they always act according to them. For instance, they perceive one’s career as something that should bring happiness and a sense of fulfillment into our lives. So, if they don’t get satisfaction from their job, they won’t be hesitant or afraid to quit it and pursue a different career.

11. They Ooze Charm And Warmth

INFJs are known as caring, compassionate, and affectionate individuals. In addition, they are fantastic listeners, which is why their loved ones, including strangers, love confiding in them and asking for their support or help.

12. They Are Considerate

If you have a friend who belongs to the category of INFJs, make sure you keep them in your life forever. Having a friend with this personality type means having someone you can always rely on. Someone who will stay by your side through and thick. Someone who will always be there to encourage you to fulfill your potential and help you overcome your problems.

13. They Are Conscientious

INFJs live their lives according to their own values, standards, and principles. They value ethics a lot and are focused on righting the wrongs of the world. They’re careful about how they treat others as they would never allow themselves to hurt someone intentionally.

14. They Connect With Others

INFJs may be introverted, but they value deep and meaningful relationships, which is exactly the type of relationships they try to build with others. INFJs are able to connect with others on a deep mental, emotional, and spiritual level.

In addition, INFJs don’t like to engage in small talk. Instead, they value deep, meaningful, and intellectually stimulating conversations, and they communicate in a calm and sensitive manner.

15. They Are The Loners Of The World

These people can often be found wandering the streets or drinking coffee at a cafeteria by themselves. They don’t do these things because they don’t like to hang out with others but because they need to isolate themselves from time to time to get in touch with themselves and organize their thoughts.

16. They Can Be Full Of Contradictions

They can go from happy to sad in a heartbeat. They are the ones who are the hardest to keep track of since they can go from one direction to another without any previous warning. Moreover, going to extremes is not foreign to them.

17. They Have An ALL Or NOTHING Mentality

They always choose quality over quantity when it comes to anything they do in life. They believe that if you are not able to do your best at what you are doing, then you better not start doing it in the first place.

18. They Are Problem-Solvers

If you need a reliable insight or a quick solution to a problem – ask your INFJ friend. Whether it’s a financial, family, or relationship problem, INFJs are resourceful and will do everything in their power to find a solution to it. These people are excellent at figuring things out. But, most importantly, they are right most of the time.

19. They Are Writers (Or Like To Write)

INFJs are as great writers as their talkers. They choose writing as an activity because it gives them peace and it also allows them to express their thoughts creatively.

20. They Feel Different From The Rest

As we already said, the INFJ personality type is considered the rarest personality type in the world. So, it’s no wonder INFJs have trouble finding other people that perceive the world the way they do.

It’s hard for INFJs to find others with a character, beliefs, and attitudes similar to theirs. That’s why most INFJs feel different from the rest and like they’re misunderstood, which can often make them feel lonely.

What Are The Best Careers For INFJ Personality Types?

There isn’t one perfect job for INFJ personality types as not all INFJs are the same. However, the best jobs for INFJ personalities are those that are aligned with their values and mission and that can allow them to meet their needs and fulfill their dreams. INFJs can’t get satisfaction from a job unless it offers a deep sense of purpose, regardless of the salary.

Because INFJs are hard-working, devoted, and organized workers, they can be successful in any role. There’s a variety of jobs they can choose from that can suit their needs and enable them to have a wonderful career.

In addition, Advocates love creating new ideas and working out solutions to different problems so as to help themselves and their clients grow and develop. And although they’re introverted, they love working with people.

INFJs get a lot of satisfaction from the helping professions. Many Advocates work as physicians, nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, counselors, teachers, social workers, and spiritual leaders. These jobs allow them to help and develop strong personal bonds with others.

INFJs are excellent communicators, so it’s no wonder that many of them pursue careers in writing or creating video games, blogs, and screenplays.

Additionally, INFJs are also creative individuals, which is why many of them pursue photography, illustration, music, and design.

You might find this surprising, but many INFJs are also drawn to careers in nonprofit organizations. One reason for this may be that these people are more focused on serving the community than earning a vast sum of money. Their goal is to use their resourcefulness and creativity to benefit the community and produce outside-the-box solutions that can make a difference in people’s lives and make this world a better place to live in.

So, go on! Share this post and tag your INFJ friend!

Men With Beards Are Better Boyfriends And Lovers, Study Finds

Sooner or later, every woman starts to appreciate a man with a good beard. Man’s bountiful beard has a sexy appeal and it is hard to resist especially if it is trimmed and taken care of regularly.

I mean, just think about George Clooney, Tom Payne, Jake Gyllenhaal, Chris Hemsworth, or Joaquin Phoenix… they all look better with beards!

So, why is this? Why are some men more attractive with beards?

Well, according to a new study conducted by Barnaby Dixson, a psychologist from the University of Queensland, men with beards were perceived to be more long-term relationship material.

The study that was published in Evolutionary Biology’s Journal, found a connection between a man’s facial hair and a woman’s perception of him based on whether or not she found him to be long-term relationship material. And it turns out that ladies do prefer bearded men more than fuzz-free individuals.

The researchers showed pictures of different male faces with different kids of beards to 8,520 women and asked them to rate the men in the pictures based on how attractive they found them to be. Then they asked the women to judge them according to whether they thought he was more a short-term or long-term relationship material.

The results showed a significant connectedness between masculinity and beards and the attraction levels. Namely, all women found bearded men to be more attractive and more marriage material.

“Our findings suggest that beardedness may be attractive when judging long-term relationships as a signal of intrasexual formidability and the potential to provide direct benefits to females,” stated the researchers.

In other words, a beard is a sign to women that the man is a perfect mixture of masculine and feminine thus making for an excellent relationship and marriage partner. Because women are turned off by men who seem to be too feminine (zero facial hair, high-pitched voice, feminine moves…) but they also don’t like men who are too masculine.

Moreover, the study found that “masculine faces” are perceived by women to be more attractive for casual and short-term relationships over more soft-looking faces, while beards are perceived to be more attractive for long-term relationships than clean-shaven faces.

The thing is, the beard changes the face shape of the man, hiding his sharp jawline that is interpreted as too masculine by women and therefore not long-term boyfriend material. On the other hand, those men with sharp-looking jaws are found to be more attractive for flings or casual relationships because ladies find these men to be unreliable suitors.

So, the beard softens these strong masculine features while at the same time saying, ‘I am a strong man and I can protect you.’ Plus, more facial hair equals more testosterone and more testosterone equals maturity, according to the study.

So, ladies, if you are looking for a perfect boyfriend, look for a bearded man! ????

Losing A Parent Can Affect You Psychologically And Emotionally

Losing a parent is undeniably one of the most difficult and painful universal human experiences. No matter how close you were to your mother or father, or how old you were when they passed away, or whether the death was anticipated or not, losing a parent hurts deeply and it can have a great psychological and emotional impact on you.

Even science backs up this. Studies have indicated that parental loss can negatively affect you mentally, emotionally, and physically.

While we all cope with parental loss differently, the fact remains that shock, sorrow, denial, despair, anger, and even depression, are the feelings most of us experience after losing a parent.

To investigate the effects of childhood bereavement on adult life, research analyses which were based on longitudinal data provided by 11, 000 adults born in 1970 were carried out. Three different groups were used in the analyses: orphans, children from unstable or divorced families, and children that lived with healthy parents.

To present just a part of the findings, it was found that by the age of 30, the orphans had higher unemployment rates than the other two groups. They also had a high number of symptoms related to depression.

Then another study that was carried out to examine the long-term effect of early parental death on adult life showed that in cases where the child had no appropriate social support and lacked open communication while he/she was mourning,  there was a negative effect in adulthood in regard to relationships, self-esteem, trust, feelings of isolation and loneliness, as well as the ability to communicate feelings.

And that’s not all. A study which investigated the impact of parental loss on psychological and physical health in adulthood provided valuable information which shows that gender may also play a role in the way someone experiences loss.

Analyses of longitudinal information from 8,865 adults in the National Survey of Families and Households 1987–1993 indicate that the loss of a father leads to more negative outcomes for sons than daughters and the loss of a mother leads to more negative outcomes for daughters than sons.

How Parental Loss Affects Our Brain

In a study which was published in The American Journal of Psychiatry in 2003, researchers found a connection between unresolved grief and both psychological and physical health issues, such as hypertension, immune disorders, cardiac events, and cancer.

How You Can Heal From Grief

Undoubtedly, experiencing shock, sadness, despair, anger, and denial when losing a parent is unavoidable.  So, if you’ve lost a parent, remember to take all the time you need to grieve. But, also remember to treat yourself with compassion and patience. And whatever your way of mourning is, never bottle up your feelings. Instead, let them run through you freely and acknowledge them the way they are.

Here are 5 approaches that may help speed up your healing:

1. Your relatives and friends are the people you can always rely on for help and support. But, if they can’t provide you with the emotional support you need, don’t hesitate to talk to a professional therapist.

2. Look for a support group that involves people who have similar concerns and pains to yours. Group therapy is a great way to express your feelings, share your experiences, and create meaningful relationships.

3. If you suffer from both grief and clinical depression, know that taking certain antidepressants can speed up your healing, of course, if they’re prescribed by a professional.

4. Try to maintain a healthy lifestyle as much as you can. Have a good 8-hour sleep every night, consume healthy food and drinks, do physical exercises, and meditate. This will prevent you from developing unhealthy, self-destructive behaviors, such as substance addiction or overeating.

5. Last but not least, if you’re a religious person, turn to your faith. Your faith and religious traditions can be quite comforting and soothing in a time of pain.

Pets can improve our mental health

Did you know that 74% of pet owners credit their animal companions with improving their mental health? Pets are increasingly used in therapy to help those with mental health problems, and they play an important role in boosting our morale in day-to-day life. If you’ve been struggling to deal with anxiety, depression, or related issues, you might find that spending more time with a pet gives you a real boost.

The science of bonding with pets

From a chemical point of view, our relationships with animals works the same way as our relationships with humans: they are powered by oxytocin. This potent hormone is found in its highest concentration in the mothers of new babies, but it also plays an ongoing role in familial bonding and romantic love. The most popular types of pet all have certain features that resemble those of human babies, triggering oxytocin production, such as proportionately large heads and wide eyes. Domestic cats have even evolved vocal utterances (unknown in their wild relatives) that have this effect. This is why it’s so easy to fall for them – and they, smelling the hormonal changes in us, increase their trust and affection in return. We’re naturally social animals and having this sense of mutual trust and support is an important part of what keeps us feeling healthy.

Promoting a healthier lifestyle

When you have a pet, you have a responsibility. Many people with poor mental health find it easier to get up and make things happen when somebody else depends on them than when the only needs they have to worry about are their own. Dogs who need you to talk them are particularly helpful, because physical exercise helps your body to process stress hormones and makes you feel better – it will also help you to get a better night’s sleep. Any kind of active play with a pet helps with this to some degree. Just having a routine to your day (including at the weekends) means that your metabolism will function more healthily. Having a pet that benefits from fresh vegetables, such as a rabbit or guinea pig, can help to get you eating more healthily yourself.

Learning to live in the moment

If you’ve been concerned about how to deal with anxiety, you may find that one of your problems is a constant worry about things that have happened in the past or might happen in the future, making it impossible to relax in the here and now. To most animals, worries like this are completely alien. Their whole lives are focused on the present, and the more time you spend with one, the easier you’ll find it to slip into that way of thinking. It’s hard to stay focused on your worries when somebody is barking at you to throw a stick or rolling over on the carpet at your feet, hoping for scratches. As a rule, pets know how to have fun and they’ll help you rediscover the pleasure of simple things. We can see this chemically as serotonin and dopamine levels increase during play.

Companionship

Isolation is a common contributor to mental illness, and mental illness can worsen isolation. Sometimes, even if friends and family members remain nearby, it can be difficult to find anyone to talk to who will really pay attention – but pets will. While they may not understand the precise meaning of your words, they will grasp their emotional meaning – often better than humans do. What’s more, stroking pets has been shown to result in lower blood pressure and a deep feeling of calm.

Having an animal companion can also make it easier to form new connections with other people. It means you’ll always have a safe subject to talk about, and if it gets you out and about, that’s a great way to meet people. It’s easier to be confident with new people when your pet is confident and enthusiastic about making friends.

We live in a society that tends to downplay relationships between humans and animals and dismiss their real value. Science, however, tells us clearly that that attitude is wrong. When you come home feeling shattered after a stressful day and a purring cat winds around your legs or a dog jumps up at you, wagging its tail, you’ll know as much instinctively. Pets play a vitally important role in our lives, and when we’re feeling overwhelmed by life, their patience and affection can help us turn the corner.

A Study Reveals How Your Body Knows Who’s ‘THE ONE’

When it comes to matters of the heart, we’ve been told that the best thing is to trust our gut. We often hear other people’s stories about how they met their true love and how they immediately knew that they were the person they were meant to spend their lives with.

When we look at Hollywood’s portrayal of love and romance when the lady finds her Prince Charming her heart starts beating fast, she has butterflies in her stomach, and she gets in a euphoric state of mind.

But, is this real? Or is it only a Hollywood-made-up portrayal of love only for money-making purposes? Is love really a drug?

A study from Rutgers University studied how love impacts the human body, and what chemical reactions occur when we feel that we love someone. They compared these changes with those that occur when someone feels the rush that happens when they take drugs. The connection was undeniable.

So, being in love really feels like we are ‘high on drugs’ because the euphoric state we are in consumes us entirely.

Here are 12 bodily signs that are indicators you’ve finally met a person with whom you can experience bigger things.

1. YOUR INTUITION TELLS YOU

Gut feeling is real, and you should listen to it. It is a great indicator of whether you are in a good and positive relationship that has a future to look forward to, or you are just stuck in a rut and you are only wasting your time. If you have a gnawing feeling that something doesn’t add up and is not right – pay attention and don’t ignore your feelings.

2. YOU ARE MOTIVATED

Ask yourself this: When you are with your partner, do they make you feel excited and ready to take on the world? Or, do they make you feel drained and insecure? The one will inspire you, they will encourage you, and motivate you to become the best version of yourself.

3. YOU ARE TRUE TO YOURSELF

When you are with someone who loves and supports you through all the good and bad things that life would inevitably throw at you, then you can experience your true, authentic self. You won’t have to hide your true self, pretending you are someone you are not, because this person would genuinely value and love the real you.

4. YOU ARE CALM AND RELAXED

We can all agree on the fact that all relationships need work. However, when you meet the right person, everything will just fall into place and you won’t feel like you are ‘working’ for the relationship. Everything would be effortless, and you will feel calm and peaceful.

5. YOU NEED THEM

You don’t just enjoy spending time with them, you need them to be around you. When you are not together you feel a void inside you like something is missing. You feel an inexplicable need to be with them and it is something that you physically feel within your body.

6. YOU ARE MORE WARM AND AFFECTIONATE

When you find yourself to be affectionate, warm, and vulnerable whenever you are with them, it is a sign that you are comfortable and secure in their presence. On the other hand, if you turn cold and close off when you are with them, it is a clear sign that you should move on.

7. YOU ARE OPTIMISTIC

With the right person, you will optimistically look to the future and be happy and excited about it. You both have planned many wonderful things. You believe in the future of your relationship and this creates feelings of enthusiasm and true happiness.

8. YOU MAKE HEALTHIER CHOICES

Your partner will undoubtedly influence your life in a great way. But, what matters is if that person impacts your life positively or negatively. Someone who truly cares for you will always influence you to make healthier choices for yourself. For instance, they would inspire you to eat healthier, to be more physically active, or undertake a new hobby.

9. YOU EXPERIENCE TRUE EMPATHY

When you truly love someone, you feel a connection with them that goes far beyond the physical. You both connect on a deep emotional level. You feel what the other person is feeling, and you both make efforts to make your partner emotionally happy and fulfilled. This genuine empathy from both sides is a sign that you have the right person by your side.

10. YOUR PALMS SWEAT AND YOUR CHEEKS FLUSH

When your partner makes you feel excited and looking forward to meeting them, you can experience some things which are similar to anxiety; such as, your heart beating faster, your cheeks flushing, or your hands sweating.

11. YOU ARE SEXUALLY AROUSED AND EXCITED

Sex is a very important aspect of every relationship. If you find yourself getting aroused only by thinking about your partner, or whenever you are with them – your body is actually approving them.

12. YOU ARE RELIEVED FROM PAIN

If you feel some kind of pain, and this pain is relieved by the thought of your partner and your relationship – it is a clear sign that your partner influences you in a good way. This relief usually comes from the euphoria while you are thinking about them, which acts as a natural painkiller.
