For example, Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a very effective way of treating anxiety disorders because it helps the patients remove their anxious thoughts and confront their triggers of anxiety step by step.

A good therapist can also teach the person struggling with anxiety how to manage the symptoms by using techniques such as meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, or deep breathing.
