Why do people like to Gamble?

Gambling is one of the oldest pastimes in the world, with dice games and race betting dating back to ancient times. Although many of the games that are played have changed and evolved since then like the judi slot online, their popularity has not, and for many countries, gambling remains an enjoyable part of their culture. The question of why people gamble is still being asked today, proving that it’s not an easy answer to come by.

There are some social differences which affect how acceptable gambling is within different cultures. For example, Chinese culture believes strongly in the presence of good and bad luck, so luck-based gambling games are extremely popular. By contrast, gambling goes against many of the core values of Muslim culture and is therefore frowned upon. Those people who belong to cultures where gambling is accepted are more likely to play games for a sense of enjoyment.

Gambling for enjoyment

Gambling is hugely fun, especially when you’re winning, which is why so many people enjoy it in its many forms.

Gambling is designed to be enjoyable – they are games after all. Irrespective of any monetary incentive, an evening spent playing poker or blackjack with friends can be a lot of fun. People who frequent bingo halls or pachinko parlours do so because they love to play the games, rather than because they expect to walk away with a large purse of winnings. But sheer enjoyment alone doesn’t explain everybody’s motivations for gambling. After all, there are plenty of fun activities which don’t involve winning or losing potentially large sums of money. So, what does gambling add to games, beyond enjoyment?

Gambling for an adrenalin rush

With the inclusion of playing for money, gambling adds an element of risk-taking. When we take risks it gives us an adrenaline rush. Watching the roulette ball spin heightens the anticipation of wondering whether you chose the right numbers. Taking risks is a vital part of having an exciting life and many people view gambling as an easy way to get an adrenaline rush, without doing anything potentially dangerous, like jumping out of a plane for example. However, many gamblers also incorrectly view gambling as an opportunity to get something for nothing. Players are much more likely to lose a small amount than win something big, especially on games like lotteries and slot machines when you can keep going to chase the rush that comes with winning.

Those who are skilled at risk management are most likely to succeed at gambling games, regardless of what game is played. This is because of their ability to manage the situation: they make sure they only gamble what they can afford, have strategies for coping with losses, and bank winnings to make sure that they don’t put them all back on the table. People who can exhibit a degree of control over their gambling activities will also find they enjoy themselves more, as they avoid the stresses and negative emotions that come from losing, because they have a plan for all eventualities.

Gambling to socialise

Gambling has long been a favourable way to socialise with family and friends.

Gambling is also enjoyed as a social activity. Table games in casinos have spaces for many players, allowing groups of friends to play together, chat while they do so, and enjoy a sociable night out. Add in that most casinos also serve food and drink, and many also have areas for live entertainment, and it’s easy to see how the games are linked to group enjoyment. Gambling also gives the players a chance to develop – and show off – some skills, something that has often been cited by male players and an important factor in their choices.

Age has also been shown to affect a person’s reasons for gambling. While older generations are more likely to play for the social and enjoyment aspects of the game, younger players tend to gamble more for the risk-taking and excitement that it brings. This might explain the rise in online casinos, as these are geared to appeal more to the internet generation and those who are confident with computers.

Gambling for convenience

Online casinos have done a brilliant job of replicating the casino experience digitally, with a wide variety of games on offer, all with different table limits and betting options. They’ve made it so people who love to gamble can do it wherever and whenever they wish, whether that’s at home on the sofa or on the bus to work. 888 Casino, with a huge variety of games and an engaging gaming experience guaranteed, is an exemplary online casino which is considered one of the leading regulated operators in the UK.

Playing online also has significant advantages over real-life casinos because you can exercise more control over your spending limits, click here to play sbobet. If you limit the amount of money you can deposit to only what you can afford to lose, there is no chance of getting swept away by a losing streak and delving into reserves.

The house edge for online casinos is also often lower than in real life. The house edge is a way of calculating the advantage that the casino has over the player, or what percentage of the bets they will retain. Because even though some games seem to require some skill to be successful – like poker – they are still largely based on the luck of you getting the right cards and others getting the wrong ones. A lower house edge can make games more exciting for the player, as they think they are more likely to win.

Gambling for a sense of control

A final and hugely important reason why many people choose to gamble is because it creates an illusion of control. While most games are usually a game of simply luck, a lot of people tend to gamble more when they believe they can assert some control over the outcome of a game. Psychologists point out two main contributors to the gambler’s illusion of control: near misses and personal choice. Many gamblers believe they can influence the outcome of a game with a choice they make, by following a set pattern or playing a certain “lucky” machine.

Summary

Like all activities in life, there are many reasons why people choose to partake in gambling. It could be simply to enjoy the games, or to have something in common with friends that you can then play together. It could be because they like the excitement that comes from taking risks and waiting for the reward. Of course, some people play purely because they want to win, although this actually lowers enjoyment, as wins come more rarely than losses. Some people play because it is part of their culture, and others because they want to rebel and try something that is seen as forbidden. But whatever the reason, the best way to get the most out of playing in a casino is to play responsibly by setting limits, managing the risks and walking away when you stop having fun.

Appreciate Loyal Women: They Are The Gems And Blessings Of Life

Appreciate Loyal Women: They Are The Gems And Blessings Of Life

People cheat. I mean, let’s face it. A lot of them. For different reasons, but they cheat. It’s hard to find someone who is loyal and will stay by your side no matter what.

Loyalty is an expensive gift, so you, my friend, need to start appreciating the girl standing beside you.

Open your eyes and see her worth. See how much she is invested in you, how much of the time she dedicates to you. She is your rock, your shoulder – she never lets you go down. She lifts your spirits up and thinks only highly of you.

You are her king. Her gem, her sweetheart, her kindred spirit. See how her eyes glow when you hold her hand? It’s because she loves you. Because she has no one else in mind.

See that worth – not many people can give out that much. Not many people are willing to put themselves on the line, to show how fragile they are in front of the person they love. Most will not let their guard down, but not her. She knows that you can hurt her, yet she gives you her heart and soul selflessly.

She loves for both of you; she carries the relationship on her back only. Appreciate that loyalty, that wholehearted loyalty.

Often, we notice things only after we lose them. We appreciate people only after they walk away. So don’t take her for granted.

Give her the love she deserves. Be there for her.

Loyalty is what stays long after the passion and the intensity of new beginnings, long after the rough patches and the bumpy roads of mature relationships.

It is the one genuine thing that surpasses the ugly and the bad. The emotional floods and droughts. But it has to be reciprocated.

The thing about loyalty is that it can go through a lot, it can withstand a lot. But if unreciprocated for a long time, it fades away.

It’s like a ticket for two. You can go on that journey alone, but then you see the empty seat next to you and it just doesn’t feel right. So you walk away. And you, my friend, should not let that happen. You should not let her get away.

How to increase your iron level and why it is important Blood in the Body

The heart plays one of the most important functions in the human body. It pumps blood to other organs throughout the body carrying important nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and other components the body needs. In the midst of all these functions, the blood plays a critical role in helping the body maintain its regular function and keep it balanced through homeostasis.

Blood plays many roles in the human body. It is responsible for many functions that are essential for the body’s survival.

  • Carries nutrient supply to other cells and tissues. Blood acts as a transport medium for amino acids, fatty acids, glucose, and other essential nutrients to maintain cell health and function.
  • Transports waste materials away from the cells. By-products of respiration and other waste materials such as carbon dioxide, urea, and lactic acid are removed from the cells and delivered to organs responsible for their expulsion from the body.
  • Protects the body. The white blood cells in the blood protect the body from infections and foreign bodies that can disrupt homeostasis.
  • Delivery of hormones. Hormones produced by the body are transported from one part of the body to another for the completion of body functions.
  • Regulate body pH levels. Through the transport and removal of certain waste materials from the body, the blood is able to maintain and regulate pH levels to make sure it isn’t too acidic or too basic.

Lastly, blood’s most important function is to supply oxygen to the different cells and tissues in the body. This is carried out by a protein found in red blood cells called hemoglobin.

The Body Under Low Hemoglobin

Hemoglobin is one of the main components of red blood cells. Its main function is to facilitate respiration by acting as a site to which oxygen and carbon dioxide can attach themselves.

During respiration, the lungs inhale oxygen, which is then delivered to cells around the body. These cells form carbon dioxide as a by-product of the processes they perform. The carbon dioxide attaches itself to the hemoglobin, which is delivered back to the lungs for exhalation.

Hemoglobin is a crucial component of the blood because of the critical role it plays during respiration. Hence, hemoglobin production in the body is absolutely paramount to its survival.

Iron is a major ingredient in the production of hemoglobin. When the body’s iron supply is low, hemoglobin production slows down. This decline in the body’s hemoglobin supply can manifest in many ways.

Symptoms of Low Iron Levels

  • A feeling of exhaustion and irritability. Oxygen is used by the cells to carry out their functions. A decline in the oxygen supply can impede their processes, which causes the cells to produce less energy, which results in a feeling of tiredness.
  • Paleness of the skin. The presence of iron-rich hemoglobin in the blood gives it its natural red color. Naturally, a decline in the supply of the protein in the blood means it could lose its pigmentation, which in turn causes the skin to pale.
  • Difficulty breathing. When the oxygen supply that reaches the cells is insufficient, the body compensates by enabling the lungs to take up more oxygen. We process this stimulus as shortness of breath.
  • Faster heartbeat and palpitations. The body now takes in more oxygen as a result of faster breathing. But with no hemoglobin to which the oxygen can attach, the heart compensates by pumping blood faster to deliver oxygen to the cells.
  • Headaches and lightheadedness. Pressure develops in the veins as they start to swell. This increase in pressure can lead to headaches and lightheadedness.
  • Brittle hair and nails. Oxygen deprivation damages the cells. As a result of the damage, the skin tends to become dry. The hair as well as the nails also become brittle and are susceptible to cracking.

What Causes Low Iron Levels?

There are numerous causes of low hemoglobin in the blood. Most of the reasons can be related to other conditions while others simply have to do with an iron-poor diet. These causes include:

The rapid destruction of red blood cells. The body normally replenishes blood supply in the body by destroying red blood cells and producing new cells, which occur every few months. This is quite common in athletes due to exercise-induced hemolysis (destruction of blood cells) and hematuria (blood in urine). Studies have shown that mechanical trauma and oxidative stress contribute to the rapid destruction of red blood cells.

The inability of the body to produce enough hemoglobin. Impaired hemoglobin product of the body is not a normal thing. When the body cannot produce enough hemoglobin, it can be due to a number of diseases that are either hereditary (bone marrow disease, blood diseases) or as a result of poor lifestyle choices (kidney failure).

Bleeding. Low hemoglobin counts can stem from the lack of red blood cells in the body caused by bleeding. It can be external as a result of surgery, injury, or drawing of blood, or internal due to internal bleeding.

An iron-poor diet. Diet is singularly the most common cause for low hemoglobin levels in the blood. When the supply of iron in the body is low, the body will not have enough raw materials to use to be able to produce hemoglobin, which creates a deficiency in the supply.

How to Increase Iron Levels in the Blood

There are a number of ways to increase iron levels to stimulate hemoglobin production, which will depend on the underlying condition that caused the low supply. But here are some of the most common ways:

Receive blood transfusions. Especially in emergency cases, the fastest way to increase hemoglobin count is by increasing the number of red blood cells in the body through an external blood supply.

Use hormones that stimulate production. A hormone called erythropoietin is injected into the bloodstream to improve the rate in which hemoglobin is produced. This is helpful in cases where production is slow or red blood cell destruction is too fast.

Increase intake of food that stimulates hemoglobin production. Foods rich in iron (eggs, artichokes, liver, lean meats, beans, and seafood) and cofactors (vitamins B6, B12, and C, and folic acid) help the body maintain normal hemoglobin levels.

Take iron supplements. Iron supplementation takes a more direct approach to the stimulation of red blood cell production. Supplements like SNAC’s HypOxygen promote recovery and boost energy levels by stimulating hemoglobin production and promoting oxygen delivery to the different cells in the body. If you are wondering how to increase iron levels quickly, this supplement may become a solution. It contains iron bisglycinate that is a readily-absorbed form of iron and is up to four times more effective than iron sulfate and has less potential for toxicity.

Step Up For Yourself: Don’t Let People Cross Your Boundaries

Step Up For Yourself: Don’t Let People Cross Your Boundaries

Sometimes the truth comes slowly to us. But sometimes it dawns on you, and you can’t do anything to stop it. Like the time I realized how much I let slide. People can treat you way out of line if you let them.

The problem with letting people get away with too much is that you think it’s nothing serious. You think is just a phase or you think that’s how it’s supposed to be. You’ve never stood up for yourself, so to you, that’s just part of the norm. Well, it isn’t.

People can be selfish. Self-oriented. What you do is give them chance after chance and guess what? They are loving it! You have to draw a line somewhere. I mean, nobody is perfect – we all have our flaws, but I have one word for you: BOUNDARIES.

If someone is repeatedly crossing them, then you should step up and remind them that boundaries are not a fence you jump over, they are to be respected.

There’s nothing wrong with showing some teeth and raising the stakes up a notch.

You want to hang out with me? You want to be my friend? You want to be in a relationship with me?  Great, then show some respect.

Disrespect is not physical, but it hurts like it is. Being voiceless, being ignored just because you are the pro-harmony person, the shy one in the gang does not mean people should behave like 5-year-olds when their toy gets broken if things are not their way. So don’t let them.

Learning how to be heard, learning how to step up and fight for yourself can be a slow journey filled with a lot of backing down and hesitations, but you’ll get there. Say your goodbye to soul-sucking, abusive relationships, fake friends, and condescending bosses.

Baby steps are all you need. The change you are going to experience is unparalleled. Your voice will be heard and you’ll feel fierce and unstoppable. And you have every right to feel that way. You deserve it.

Those who will not like that change should perhaps reconsider their own behavior, you – just keep it going. Loud and proud!

3 Unlikely Relapse Triggers in Your Addiction Recovery

That’s nice talk, Ben – keep drinking. Between the 101-proof breath and the occasional bits of drool, some interesting words come out.”

Leaving Las Vegas,” a 1995 Mike Figgis film, starring Nicolas Cage & Elisabeth Shue

For a while, like the poor character of Ben in the film “Leaving Las Vegas,” I toyed with the idea of a supposedly romantic death from drinking. However, in the same liquor-soaked breath, I’d have laughed at myself, knowing I would never have the guts to do something so final. I loved the film when I was a full-on alcoholic, and, now clean and sober, quite a few years later, I still love it – the wonderfully-crafted characters (who still seem so very real to me) and the writing – so skillfully done, so accurate.

However, when I watch it now, I’m prepared. Call it practice. I need to be wary – it could turn out to be the trigger that leads to a relapse, even after all this time.

Any addiction recovery is filled with potential relapse triggers and unexpected challenges. Of course, there are the obvious triggers to be wary of – such as familiar places, people, and social events – that could present a problem, and the majority of those in recovery (certainly in the early days) will simply avoid those things or circumstances.

The rehab center in Arizona that invested so much time and effort into me also taught me a lot about the usual and the very unusual relapse triggers I might encounter, as part of my education in addiction. They are easily one of the reasons I’m here now, sharing this article, still clean and sober.

However, life is life, and it happily throws the unexpected, and sometimes even the bizarrely coincidental, in our direction, and usually when we least expect it. If those in recovery were given “Spidey-sense” (aka Spider Man’s uncanny sense of danger) when they left rehab, I’m pretty positive there would be many more recoveries with successful outcomes.

Here are “3 Unlikely Relapse Triggers in Your Addiction Recovery” that may catch you completely off-guard, and lead to a potential relapse. Be wary of:

1. Films & TV

Just like the “Leaving Las Vegas” film mentioned above, unexpected triggers can hit you from a cinema screen or from the wide-screen TV sitting in your living room. Straight off, you can never plan your viewing to suit your recovery (it’d drive you close to madness too), but you can be selective about the type of content you watch. For some recovering addicts, simply watching a film about drug use can be a trigger; for other recovering addicts, films with a storyline that features a suicide attempt can be a trigger. Even certain film stars can be a potential trigger to some.

All of this is unique to you. There is no list of CDC-banned film and television titles that those in recovery from substance abuse and addiction are forbidden to watch. Something that may present a trigger to you could pass me by without even a nod in its direction.

It’s therefore imperative that, as a recovering addict, you recognize, know and understand your own personal triggers. Additionally, if you have friends or fellowship sponsors with an addiction history, ask them for their advice as to how to limit the potential for triggers coming out of your TV screen.

2. Complacency & Overconfidence

Although it may seem unlikely when you’re in early addiction recovery, as surely as the days turn into weeks and so on, you will become more adept at living your new clean and sober life. Your new way of living will become habitual, the things you do to remain clean and sober become routine – it turns from being utterly new to “utterly just like yesterday.”

Because of this, and due to feeling so much better than when you were using or drinking, some people in addiction recovery become a little complacent, a little overconfident. Not much, but as time passes, these feelings become more common, the new way of thinking, until they, too, become normal. And that is dangerous.

Many recoveries have fallen at the wire, and didn’t last, for just this reason – people got complacent, then got lazy, and then got careless, until another trigger caught them point-blank, right between the eyes.

Never think you have this recovery thing sussed or licked. You don’t. You may never, and that’s a cold, hard truth that every recovering drug addict and alcoholic needs to learn.

3. Social Media

The guy that invented the internet once said he’d unleashed the devil. He wasn’t joking, especially when you consider how the darker side of people’s natures can feature so prominently just a click away. All it takes is an unexpected comment on a personal post that hits too close to home, or something to provoke you sent via an instant message, and – Boom! – an instant and unexpected relapse trigger that can catch you out.

If you find that this is happening way too regularly, then remember – your recovery comes first, so use those “Unfollow,” “Block” and “Unfriend” buttons as often as you want, and certainly as often as you need to. At no point, should your FB status be more important than your addiction recovery – ever.

Coping with Insomnia During Your Addiction Recovery

The night is the hardest time to be alive,

and 4 am knows all my secrets.”- Poppy Z. Brite, American writer

Your head hits the pillow, you slowly close your eyes, but your brain has so much zipping around in its prefrontal cortex, there’s no place in there for sleep. If your brain doesn’t start to chill out soon, there’s no chance the rest of you will chill out enough to relax, and finally (thankfully) fall asleep.

Insomnia – the curse of many an addiction recovery, especially during the early days.

If you haven’t been there yet, and encountered insomnia in all its glory – chances are, you will… at some point. Recovering drug addicts and recovering alcoholics are serious experts at inducing a good dose of seemingly incurable insomnia for themselves. You can thank all that unresolved anger, guilt, anxiety, and shame for a start because that’s where insomnia usually does start, as well as your body continuing to withdraw from the toxic substances you’ve been abusing.

I once had a psychiatrist assure me (during my addicted days) that there was nothing wrong with me – not addiction, not alcoholism, not insomnia, and certainly not plain, old madness. “A simple case of “racing thoughts” is all,” he said. I was still laughing away to myself when I opened the next bottle of whiskey to shut those same racing thoughts up.

Fortunately, I later encountered decent clinicians, specializing in addiction, who informed me that the racing thoughts were a symptom of something else, and I was able to undergo treatment in a drug rehab center in Pennsylvania for both that disorder and, of course, my chronic alcoholism. Over 6 years ago now, and I’ve been clean, sober, and healthy ever since.

I became a student of addiction, the disease, in rehab; education – learning the cold, hard facts about this disorder – was a primary tool for enabling a lasting recovery. I learned all about my insomnia and a host of other useful things too (like the art of mindfulness – but more of that later).

Here is the advice that was passed onto me about “Coping with Insomnia During Your Addiction Recovery”:

Sleep is an Absolute Necessity for the Recovering Addict

Addiction is medically described as a “chronic, relapsing brain disorder.” Like all chronic diseases, it takes time to heal and recover, and addiction is no different. It is for that very reason that sleep is an absolute necessity for those undergoing such a recovery.

When you sleep, your brain doesn’t, not really. It’s busy processing all the information it needs to help you achieve recovery, far more efficiently and effectively than when you’re awake. The brain is also responsible for regulating enzymes and hormones in the body when we sleep, which improves recovery.

Lose out on your sleep, and you will be prone to anxiety, poor control of your emotions, impulsivity, and depression. Not good, as these can result in relapse.

Insomnia: The Facts

Insomnia is a sleep disorder, resulting in:

  • Poor-quality sleep
  • Waking sporadically during the night
  • Difficulty in returning to sleep, and
  • Waking too early

There are 2 types of insomnia:

  • Acute Insomnia (or short-term insomnia): More common and milder than the chronic version of the disorder (often going away on its own), acute insomnia can simply result from:
  • Environmental factors like noise or extreme temperatures
  • Work-related anxiety or
  • Emotional stress and discomfort
  • Chronic Insomnia (or ongoing insomnia): A prolonged and lasting disorder that requires actual treatment, chronic insomnia can be caused by:
  • Certain medication
  • Mental health issues
  • Trauma
  • Alcoholic insomnia caused by consuming too much alcohol, or
  • Poor sleeping environment

Why is Insomnia Common During Addiction Recovery?

According to the Journal of Addiction Medicine, if you are in recovery from substance addiction, you are 5 times more likely to experience insomnia. Sleeping disorders are simply a longer-term withdrawal symptom for those recovering from substance abuse, such as alcohol, opioids and cannabis.

Insomnia: What Can I Do?

Insomnia caused by the long-term withdrawal from an abused substance, or substances, is a temporary issue and does not require the use of medication, eg. sleeping tablets or other meds, to be treated successfully.

Here are the best lifestyle tips to beat your temporary case of insomnia:

  • Avoid Caffeine: Caffeine, a natural stimulant, is a killer when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, so avoid it if you can. If you need a cup of coffee, no problem – just confine your caffeine intake strictly to the mornings.
  • Nutrition: Eat a healthy and nutritious diet, and avoid sugar and fats, as this promotes good sleep. You can also use a melatonin-based supplement as this can help you go to sleep faster.
  • Exercise Regularly: Somewhat obvious (because it helps to feel physically tired before sleep), try and exercise daily.
  • Relaxation: Learning activities like yoga, massage therapy, and mindfulness meditation is an excellent way of learning to relax your body and mindfully. Personally, mindfulness was a revelation to me, and I still practice it daily.
  • Good Sleeping Environment: A dark, quiet room with the right temperature.
  • Wind Down Before: Take a warm bath, practice a relaxation exercise, or reading before bed aid your sleep when you get there.

Remember, insomnia is temporary during addiction recovery. If it persists, and you feel like you have exhausted the above, speak to your family physician – do not try to self-medicate, as you could make yourself prone to relapse. Sleep well, dear reader!

How to Dress Modestly: 10 Tips to Look Your Best

Are you trying to figure out how to dress modestly and still look good? Read this article to learn the best tips for dressing modestly.

Do you need to dress up for work or school? Is there a formal event happening soon?

The definition of fashion changed throughout the ages, but dressing modestly never went out of style. If you gravitate towards outgoing outfits, you might find modest dresses difficult to coordinate. It doesn’t help that most fashion items are fickle when paired with each other.

Don’t panic, it’s not as difficult as it looks.

With this guide, you’ll learn how to dress modestly while maintaining your fashion sense. Read on and learn some great tips and tricks regardless of your fashion preferences:

  1. Be Aware of Your Shirt’s Neckline

Regardless of the occasion, you’ll do better by keeping your shirt’s neckline four finger-widths or less when measured against your collarbone. To make this accurate measurement, put your hand on your chest, keeping your index finger aligned with your collarbone. If your shirt’s neckline goes lower than your pinky, it’s too low.

  1. Pick Shirts that Hide Your Shoulders and Back

When prioritizing modesty, it’s an established rule not to show too much skin to the onlookers. If you’re going on a casual occasion, it’s better to wear plain t-shirts. It should be high-backed to stay modest while maintaining comfort and fashion.

If you have a spaghetti strap camisole, use cardigans or a light jacket to drape over it. Ensure that these clothing items have long sleeves. If you use a long-sleeve shirt, pair it with a long denim skirt for a more rugged yet covered look.

  1. Choose Maxi Dresses or Tunics for Summer Wear

Summer can be hot, but you need not get outfits that emphasize your figure. Instead, opt for loose dresses made from breathable and lightweight fabric. This enables you to stay classy while keeping you cool and covered.

If you want a more concealed summer look, get a lightweight wrap. Drape it over your shoulders while pairing it with a fashionable maxi dress. You can also search for Christian Apparel for modest clothing options.

  1. Layer Clothes for an All-Season Modest Look

With almost 43% of the United States suffering through the cold during October, you want an outfit that helps you stay warm. A good way to keep yourself snug while adding a stylish flair to your modest outfit is to use layers. Stick to wool when the weather is colder.

It doesn’t mean that you can’t layer your clothes during warm months. When it’s summer, look for clothes with light fabrics like nylon, cotton, and polyester. Layer these to ensure you’re comfortable.

  1. Avoid See-Through Fabrics

To get dressed modestly, your choice of pants matters a lot. That’s why wearing pants or leggings with sturdier fabrics are a must. This is a necessity when you’re going to the gym or other public fitness centers.

It’s always better to be cautious instead of picking randomly. If you aren’t sure about your pants’ thickness, wear a longer shirt to hide your derriere. But for best clothing materials, pants made from cotton blends, polyester blends, and wool are reliable.

  1. Hide Undergarments and Unwanted Lines

This is a necessity when you’re dressing with modesty in mind. When bending over, it’s immodest when your panty lines show or your bra’s color and style get exposed. This is something you should keep in mind whenever you pick outfits.

Also, a good method is to look at yourself in the mirror and test your outfit before going out. Do various daily tasks to be certain. If you can move around without exposing your panty lines, your look is modest.

But if you need to wear tighter pants, choose complementary undergarments. It means getting a seamless panty to avoid untoward exposure.

  1. Pick Shorts and Skirts Longer than Arm’s Length

This is a great rule to live by if you aspire to be modest with your fashion wardrobe. Keep your shorts and skirt length around the knee. They should be longer than your arm’s reach when putting your arm straight down.

An awesome alternative is to get Maxi skirts. These emphasize your style while maintaining modesty. Use a short-sleeve skirt under a tank top for maximum comfort during the summer.

  1. Accessorize Modestly

Totes and handbags are great accessories that maintain your modesty. Having a different bag each day can change the way you look. It enhances your fashion level by adding some flair to your modest outfit.

I Have No Motivation in the Morning: 5 Tips to Get Motivated

Are you saying that you have no motivation in the morning? Read this article and learn important tips to get motivated in the morning.

Do you find yourself waking up with no motivation in the morning?

If you find yourself hitting snooze multiple times, it might be time for a morning makeover.

Finding the things that motivate you in the morning is a personal exercise based on your personality. Certain routines and activities in the morning can help.

Check out these five ways to feel motivated in the morning.

  1. Set Yourself Up for a Good Morning

Waking up groggy because you didn’t get enough sleep zaps your motivation from the start.

Feeling motivated in the morning starts the night before based on how you set yourself up for sleep.

Start by going to bed early enough to get the recommended 7 or more hours of sleep each night.

Consider what time you need to wake up in the morning for work or other obligations to calculate your bedtime. Give yourself plenty of time to get ready in the morning.

Handle as many things as possible the night before so your morning is easier. You might pick your outfit and pack your work bag before you go to sleep.

  1. Have Something to Look Forward To

Give yourself a reason to get out of bed by having something you like waiting.

Splurge on gourmet coffee beans, so you can treat yourself to a coffee shop quality drink when you arise.

Leave enough time in the morning routine to cook a delicious, healthy breakfast.

Save a little time for something you find motivating, such as a daily devotional or quiet time on the deck at sunrise.

Finding something that makes you want to get up gets you excited for the morning.

  1. Get Moving

Decide that you’re going to get out of bed as soon as your alarm sounds. When you lie in bed longer, you might convince yourself you don’t want to get up yet. Hitting snooze is also dangerous because you lose motivation to get up.

Jump out of bed right away and start your body moving. You don’t have to do a full workout routine, but doing a few exercises gets the blood pumping and helps you feel awake and alert.

  1. Do Something Inspiring

Tap into the things that inspire you as a way to generate motivation when you wake up.

For some people, that’s a motivating playlist with music playing loudly during the morning routine.

It might be reviewing your goals or looking at your vision board.

Sometimes it might mean finding an inspiration podcast such as The Jordan Harbinger Show Podcast. Listen to an episode while you get ready or during your morning commute.

Think about the things that inspire you and work them into your morning routine.

  1. Get Dressed

Getting dressed and ready for the day can help get you going. Instead of lounging in your pajamas, jump in the shower right away.

Choose an outfit that makes you feel good. Style your hair, put on makeup, add some accessories, or do other things that make you feel happy and confident.

We All Fall In Love With 3 Types Of People In Life – Each One For A Specific Reason

We accept the love we think we deserve.”
―
Stephen ChboskyThe Perks of Being A Wallflower

Love is a phenomenon we all experience and word around the block is that we actually fall in love with three people during our life. However, each time we fall in love, it is for a completely different reason.

The first love we experience is usually when we are young, which is why this is a picture-perfect type of love. This is the happily ever after we usually see in motion pictures and in storybooks like Cinderella.

While we are experiencing this kind of love, too often we think that this is the only love we will ever have the chance to feel. According to society, this love looks right, on the inside and out.

Most of us are blinded by the belief that this is how it should be, completely ignoring the fact that it may not be right for us. Considering this is the only “love” we have known thus far, we think this is how it should be.

Most times, we ignore how we feel on the inside for society’s sake, since it looks good. We are too young to know better.

As for the second kind of love, well, this is the most excruciating of all. This type of love teaches us the tough lessons we need to learn in order to grow.

Through these hard times, we figure out who we are and what we want in life. The reason why it hurts so much is that we need to experience turmoil, agony, deceit and oftentimes, distortion.

Through this second kind of love, we are made to believe that we have grown from the first love and learned the hard lessons, so we hang on. Here we fail to recognize that we are still making the same mistakes, yet not learning our lesson.

During this unique experience, we become part of a never-ending sequence, manipulated by actions we cling onto and so desperately believe will change. But, as the saying goes, “no matter how many times you read the book, the ending is still the same”.

This applies here as well. Yet, we still choose to stick around, foolishly believing that things will change, but end up worse.

These types of experiences are the most heart wrecking, insalubrious and at times egotistical. Here we experience the tides of the most dramatic highs and lows life can throw at us.

However, these highs and lows are what keep us from moving on. Manipulation tends to be addictive and so we stay to see what remains of this poignant rollercoaster.

The sad truth is that we have so freely opened ourselves to feeling this way that it feels natural. Eventually, we lose sight of what it important to us, leading us to everlasting doom.

Finally, we come to terms with the truth and realize this is the love we wish turned out differently.

This is why we have the third kind of love. We usually get it right the third time around. However, this time it comes out of the blue, unexpected and raw. In the beginning, it feels wrong and farfetched since we have not planned for it. We never saw it coming.

This love approaches us when we are ready. It comes so easily that it seems unlikely. It is the love where the connection cannot be described and takes us off balance since we never planned it.

This is the kind of love where it just feels right for no particular reason. There aren’t any ultimate anticipations in the real sense of the word. We each act as ourselves, not pretending to be someone we are not.(impact of human pheromones on attraction)

Unlike the storybook, young love, this love is real. It is so real that it looks nothing as we have painted it in our heads. It beats all expectations and all bets are off.

All cards are on the table and playing it safe is not an option. This is the real deal in the end. The main lesson learned with this kind of love is that there is no predominant representation of how love should look or feel like.

Love is persistent and patient. Therefore, if this third love is the one that is the right one, it will not give up easily. It will tear down our very being and shake us to our core.

It will teach us things we have never learned before. And, we will finally come to understand why it never worked out with anyone else.

Unfortunately, not everyone gets to experience all three types of love in one lifetime. Some are not ready, while others need to learn what love is not before they understand what it actually is.

Love is presented in all forms and figures, but it does not mean that it is wrong.

Some of us may need a lifetime to learn each lesson, while the others only need a few years.

There are these people, and then there are those that only experience love once. But, this is enough because it lasts a lifetime. Maybe our grandparents were each other’s first love and the epitome to what love ought to be.

Several may argue that this is the best kind of love and that these folks are the lucky ones. However, I beg to differ. If you have found love and are still with that same person from the very beginning, great.

I applaud you. Nevertheless, I do believe there is more to this world. I salute those who had their heart broken several times and never gave up.

They came to terms with life and realized that third time really is the charm.

We all love in different ways and just because it has not worked out so far, does not mean it will not work out in the future.

Are we bounded by how we love, or loved without boundaries? We all have choices in life. Therefore, if staying with your first choice makes you happen, then be it. As long as we are happy with the person, we have chosen for ourselves that is all that matters.

If we choose to stay with the second love, that is fine as well. Some people’s philosophy in life is that people can change and that if it is worth fighting for, then fighting is what they should do.

In the end, there are those that still choose to wait for the third love, the one that just feels right – the one that will make them feel calm and wanted.

They are all special in their own way.

Whatever love you choose to spend the rest of your life with, be sure it makes you happy. That is all that matters in the end.
